Youthful Energy, Old Soul
Brynne Calleran is a 17 year old local high
school senior. She began writing
songs at the
age of two, and hasn't stopped since.
Music has always been a big part of her life,
however she didn't learn to
accompany herself
until her sophomore year in high school when
she picked
up her father's guitar for the first
time. Since then she has been performing
at
local celebrations and festivities, as well as
jumping into the coffee house scene about 8
months ago.
Aside from playing guitar, Brynne has been her
high school's first chair
flutists for the past four
years in both symphonic band and symphony
orchestra.
This past spring, she performed as
the Lakeland Jazz Vocalist in their annual
"Night
of Jazz", and is currently a member of the
Liberty Choir.
Brynne is thrilled to be where she is today, and hopes to continue with her music through college and into the future. "I'd like to thank DTG for everything, and for showing me what I really want out of life."
