The Deedle Deedle Dees are a rock band
for kids (and smart adults). Based
in
Brooklyn, the Deedle Deedle Dees like
to sing about a lot of silly topics,
but they
especially enjoy teaching kids about
revolutionaries, criminals,
and troubled
souls in American history. Songs like
"Aaron Burr", "John Brown",
"Anne
Bonney", and "John Wilkes Booth"
are all regular parts of their sets as are
lighter fare like "Free as a Turd," "Scared by
my Own Costume," "Fool Sandwich," and "Flat
Stanley" (a retelling of Jeff Brown's 1964 children's book).
This 15 Track CD is out and available. Let it Dee is sure to get just about anyone who listens to it a good time and a great laugh.
